What Members have to Say:
“We are so grateful to have found JenEhr Family Farm. It’s made a difference in how we feel – about eating real, good food, about wanting to spend our $ locally, about our connection to the earth and the seasons, about having to plan entire cooking days, so we can use all the yummy food we get from you guys.”
LeAnne & Mary Beth

“Every time I walk on the farm, I feel like I’m walking on sacred ground.  And I feel that same way when I eat these wonderfully simple meals both fresh from my weekly box or from my frozen stash during the winter.  I feel so connected to the farmers and family at JenEhr Family Farm, that they’re included in my thoughts and prayers.

What Share Size is Right for Your Family?
The most oft asked questions surround the right share size for your family.  A few simple questions and answers will help you through the process:

  1. How many people are you feeding and how much do they eat?
    1. If your feeding more than four people, consider a full share
    2. If there are teenagers in the house – definitely consider the full share
  1. How many meals do you eat at home or prepare from home?
    1. If you eat most of your meals at home (75%)and carry your lunch to “school/work” – consider the full share
    2. If you eat out often, with lunches away from home prepared – the half share is a better option
  1. Do you have a freezer (bigger than the one attached to the refrigerator)?
    1. If YES, than go for the full share, realizing that you’ll spend a little time in preparing for freezing.  The freezer allows you to eat local organic year-round.
  1. Are you a vegetarian or vegan? – Definitely go for the full share.
