JenEhr Strawberry Update
2009 Strawberry Upick Season Finished
Another short, intense and very flavorful strawberry season in Wisconsin has come to an end. Thursday, July 2nd was the last day the strawberry patch was open to Upick customers. Thanks to all who came out during the two week U-Pick season.
Look for a few flats at the farmers markets this Saturday (July 4th) as we clean up the patch of those tiny but so sweet strawberries that come at the end of the season.
Suggestions for 2010, so you don’t miss a berry:
- Sign up for the strawberry e-newsletter at our website (www.wisconsingrown.com).
- Mark your palm pilot, cell phone date book and your wall calendar for the second week of June 2010, the beginning of the JenEhr Strawberry Season.
- Sign up for the JenEhr CSA in 2010 – CSA members get the first and last berries, before anyone else – a benefit of membership.
We’ll see you at our farmers markets, look for the Heritage Turkey Order Forms at the end of the month, and keep checking our website to see what’s new (updated every Tuesday morning)
